GirlzDay is a day-long event for girls of all ages to try new things, meet extraordinary leaders, explore their potential, and celebrate the power of girls.
Featuring tons of hands-on activites for girls and their families, an exhibition of girls' Take Action projects, plus keynote presentations and breakout seesions freaturing phenomenal women and girls, and so much more!

A year-long program empowering girls in Philadelphia
to lead the change they want to see in their neighborhoods.
Calling All Girl Bosses was developed by Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP) as a blueprint to give Philadelphia girls in grades 6-12 the skills they need to identify a community problem and Take Action to find a solution.
Driven by passion, determination, and a desire to make the world a better place, girls will discover their agency to make real sustainable changes in their neighborhoods while working towards the highest awards in Girl Scouting.
Calling All Girl Bosses kicks-off in September 2024 and runs through May 2025. Working alongside their peers and with the support of volunteers and mentors, girls will participate in 12 three-hour workshops held at safe locations in the community.
The program culminates at the GSEP Girl Expo in May 2025, where girls will share their Take Action projects with girls and families from across our region. Held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the Girl Expo will feature inspiring guest speakers, interactive programs tailored to girls of different ages, a hands-on hall of experiences, and girl-focused exhibitors and vendors.
Who Can Participate
Calling All Girl Bosses is open to all girls entering grades 6-12 who live, attend school, or are part of a Girl Scout troop that meets in Philadelphia. Participants do not need to be a current Girl Scout or have previous Girl Scouting experience.
The program is FREE for girls. Lunch and transportation will be provided for each workshop.
